The gap between work support and personal support
An executive assistant is employed to support your role. Using them for personal errands is often against company policy, uncomfortable for both of you, or simply impossible when their time is already full. So personal admin falls back on you, usually in the evenings.
That gap is where a personal assistant for executives fits: someone focused entirely on your life outside work, who coordinates around your work calendar rather than competing with it.
What a personal team covers for executives
The work is mostly coordination: the details that need attention but not your judgment, until the moment a decision is required.
- Personal travel and family trips, researched and planned around work commitments
- Appointments for you and your household, scheduled and rescheduled as work moves
- Home providers found, compared, booked and followed up
- Dinners, celebrations and important dates organized
- Training plans and wellness routines that survive a heavy travel schedule
- Personal finance administration: bills, renewals, subscriptions and savings goals organized
- Research for personal decisions, from a new car to a school open day
Working alongside your executive assistant
The two roles fit together. Your executive assistant owns your work calendar; your personal team keeps your personal plans out of its way. With your permission, your personal team can coordinate with your assistant at work on timing, so personal appointments land in the gaps rather than on top of meetings.
Keep the boundary clear: your personal team does not need access to work systems, and nothing about your company has to be shared for it to work.
Discretion, approvals and information
Executives reasonably care about who sees what. With SuperHandled, the website collects only your name, email and a short note. During onboarding, you decide what to share and we agree a secure way to share it. You set approval rules at the start, and nothing is booked, bought, cancelled or sent on your behalf without your approval.
What getting started looks like
Getting started is deliberately unhurried, because the first weeks shape how well your team knows you. It begins with a short note through our contact form and a personal reply to arrange a conversation at a time that suits you.
In that conversation you describe what currently takes your attention, what you'd like to hand over first and what you want to make progress on. If the service is a good fit, you receive the service terms in writing, including service hours and response-time targets, before anything starts or anything is charged.
- Preferences
- Times you protect, places you like, how you travel and how you like options presented, shared once and kept on record.
- Approval rules
- What your team can do without asking, and what always needs your yes first.
- Information
- You decide what to share. For anything sensitive, a secure way to share it is agreed during onboarding.
- First requests
- Usually the three things you have been putting off longest, so you see finished work early.
How SuperHandled works for executives
You get a named Personal Concierge as your main point of contact, supported by Fitness & Lifestyle and Finance Specialists. Your team gets to know how you like things done (preferred times, restaurants, seats, the hours you protect) so requests start from what you've already told them.
Personal is $900 a month. Plus is $1,500 a month and adds priority request handling, faster attention during service hours and priority for last-minute arrangements. Service hours and response targets are set out in your written agreement.
